Labor Day 2026 sales have lowered the price of several Samsung monitors, with discounts ranging from 20% to 39% across the company’s gaming Odyssey line and its productivity-focused ViewFinity series.

Price-tracking tools confirm that many of the deals represent the lowest points seen since each product’s launch, making the holiday a notable window for buyers who have been waiting for a price break.

Gaming models receive deep cuts

The 27-inch Odyssey G5 (model G51F) is listed at $149.99, down from $221.99. It features a QHD panel, 180 Hz refresh, and a 1 ms response, which smooths fast-moving titles such as shooters and racers.

For users who prefer an IPS display, the 27-inch Odyssey G5 (model G50F) now costs $169.99, reduced from $279.99. It keeps the same resolution and refresh rate but adds wider viewing angles and color consistency, plus G-Sync compatibility.

The high-end 27-inch Odyssey G8 (model G80HF) sells for $709.99, a $240 drop from its original $949.99 tag. Its IPS panel can run at 5K resolution with 180 Hz or switch to QHD at 360 Hz, offering both detail and speed for competitive play.

All three models share a 1 ms response time, DisplayPort 2.1, HDMI 2.1, FreeSync Premium, and optional G-Sync support, positioning them as premium choices for serious gamers.

Most gamers don’t need to spend $710 when the G5s cost less than $200, but its dual-resolution design gives it more flexibility than a typical gaming monitor.

Productivity-oriented screens also see reductions

The 27-inch ViewFinity S8 (model S80HF) is now $589.99, down from $699.99. It offers a 5K IPS panel, USB-C and LAN ports, making it a solid choice for laptop-centric workstations that need ample screen real estate.

Samsung’s 32-inch ViewFinity S8 (model S80D) drops to $349.99, previously $449.99. Its larger VA panel delivers 4K resolution, giving users more space for spreadsheets, timelines, and multitasking without sacrificing image depth.

The 27-inch ViewFinity S6 (model S60UD) sells for $299.99, reduced from $369.99. It pairs a QHD IPS screen with a 100 Hz refresh and a USB-C connection that supplies up to 90 watts, simplifying cable management for compatible laptops.

At $199.99, the 27-inch ViewFinity S7 (model S70H) is the most affordable 4K IPS option in the lineup, down from $299.99. While limited to 60 Hz, its resolution benefits reading, editing, and general office tasks.

The 27-inch ViewFinity S6 (model S61F) is priced at $169.99, a $60 discount from its original $229.99. It retains a QHD IPS panel at 100 Hz and includes an adjustable stand that supports portrait orientation for coding or document work.
